  • If a non-Hindu wishes to have his marriage solemnized in the Arya Samaj Mandir, he must first convert through the Shuddhi process. 

Procedure for registration in the Arya Samaj Mandir:

  • An appointment with the sub-divisional magistrate’s office is to be made; it is advised to initiate this procedure before the marriage takes place, as it may take a fortnight.

The Arya Samaj Marriage Certificate is not a valid document under international law. The marriage certificate issued by the Sub-registrar is the only document that is valid. In the event that the parties are both Hindus, an Arya Samaj marriage could be registered under the Hindu Marriage Act at the respective office.
